The role
This role will help to deliver the internal communications strategy (which supports the firm’s business plan) and enable high-quality and engaging internal communications to colleagues via a range of channels. A key focus will be the SharePoint intranet: both day-to-day maintenance and support, plus working with internal stakeholders to make improvements and add extra functionality.
The responsibilities
- Work with internal stakeholders to keep the intranet up to date and relevant, be the contact point for all queries, train and support intranet editors, and monitor engagement statistics
- Work with internal stakeholders and an external consultant to research and deliver key intranet improvements
- Plan, write and edit content for a variety of internal communications including intranet, internal online newsletter, staff presentations
- Support and project manage a range of internal communication activities and initiatives
- Plan and supervise the production of internal video content
- Help build a culture of two-way internal communication
- Ensure internal communications messages are consistent across various channels and for different teams and locations
You
- Some related work experience
- Hold a relevant degree,
- Computer literacy, including core Microsoft applications and keeps up to date on all required training
- Communicates effectively (written and verbal), with attention to detail and proofreading skills
- Builds strong relationships with all internal stakeholders and works collaboratively to meet shared objectives
- Plans and prioritises own work to meet commitments aligned with the firm’s goals
- Good understanding of internal systems and work requirements, routines, and procedures
- Strong resilience, able to face difficult situations in a calm and objective way
