This role is for an experienced Researcher for a 6 month FTC, focussed on researching and headhunting for roles across all the Saffery offices, with a particular focus on fee earning tax and accountancy roles. You will be partnering closely with the Head of Talent Acquisition and the Talent Acquisition Leads to best source and headhunt candidates across a wide variety of roles. There is also the opportunity to recruit some roles in a 360 capacity. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced talent acquisition researcher with excellent research skills across accountancy and tax.
The responsibilities
- Researching the candidate market to support the recruitment of roles across tax and accountancy in all of Saffery’s locations
- Mapping out market areas in line with Saffery’s strategic goals and in support of complex recruitment needs
- Proactively headhunt exceptional talent and engage with candidates to present Saffery and it’s career opportunities
- Full recruitment lifecycle for some professional fee earning roles across Saffery's experienced hires for accountancy and tax.
- Establish and maintain relationships with business leaders at all levels and work closely with the Head of TA and the TA Leads
- Stay connected with external market factors as well as new best practices/trends for headhunting and search
- Understand the importance of the candidate's experience and the ability to always operate with a stakeholder focused mindset.
The team
The role sits within the Talent Acquisition team, part of the wider People Experience team. The TA team is formed of experienced TA professionals who cover 10 Saffery offices across the UK and Ireland, in a collegiate environment with a culture of supporting the development of everyone within it.
You
- Experienced practitioner with relevant experience of research and headhunting for an accounting firm
- Excellent market knowledge of tax, accountancy and audit
- Experience within area to handle most situations without supervision and provide advice and guidance to others.
- Ability to analyse and interpret complex information/data and understand the impact on their discipline and wider firm.
- Able to establish and maintain strong and credible working relationships, influence others and may be required to motivate a team.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; including communicating with technical and non-technical clients and staff at all organisational levels.
- Strong presentation skills and ability to be persuasive.
- Able to use judgement / experience to tackle issues and seek advice on more complex problems.
