The role
The candidate will be responsible for the end‑to‑end delivery of change‑related projects across Saffery, ensuring projects are planned, managed and delivered in line with the firm’s project management framework and governance standards.
The role will require experience of delivering HRIS‑related change, including working with HR, Payroll, Finance and IT stakeholders to implement or enhance HR systems, manage data migration and integration activities, and embed new HR processes and ways of working. Working closely with project sponsors and stakeholders, the role holder will manage projects from initiation and business case through to delivery and transition into business‑as‑usual (BAU). This includes defining scope, plans, budgets, risks and dependencies, maintaining clear reporting, and ensuring timely escalation where required.
The Project Manager will co‑ordinate implementation activities throughout the delivery lifecycle, including user acceptance testing and readiness for go‑live, and will manage the effective handover to operational teams.
A key element of the role is change management, ensuring that impacted stakeholders are engaged, change impacts are understood, communications and training needs are identified, and new systems or processes are embedded successfully across the firm.
The role will also involve the management of third‑party and outsourced suppliers, ensuring delivery against agreed scope, timelines and contractual obligations, and that suppliers operate in line with Saffery’s standards and controls.
The role
- Project manage various sized projects simultaneously.
- Manage projects from planning through to post implementation handover e.g. scoping, project objectives, resource planning, resource management and deliverables execution etc.
- Complete business analysis on large projects.
- Develop change and communication programmes.
- Work with third party vendors to source solutions and implement appropriate support contracts.
- Produce and manage all project documents e.g. project plans, resource requirements, budgets, communications plans, risk registers, etc.
- Effectively manage all key internal and external stakeholders.
- Provide appropriate management reporting.
- Run project meetings with internal and external project teams and suppliers.
- Leading the project team including organisation of the various assigned resources.
- Ensuring project objectives are met and driving deliverables to tight timeframes and budgets.
- Ensuring that at each stage projects are progressing on time, on budget and to the right quality standards.
- Effective change management to ensure that the project is delivered successfully.

- A Project Manager with a broad experience of managing projects from inception to completion.
- The ability and confidence to take control of any issues arising.
- A strong balance of assertive and negotiation skills, able to resolve conflict and drive outcomes in challenging circumstances.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritise heavy workloads and remain focussed on key delivery targets.
- Ability to deliver large scale change management projects and ensure that that change is embedded into Saffery and that the project can demonstrate the return on investment.
- Works well with others in the team and acts as a role model, setting high standards of quality and demonstrating commitment to self-development. Uses knowledge to support his or her own team and transfers skills in areas of expertise.
- Communicates effectively with people and team members alike, with a high degree of commitment to customer service. Communicates with clarity, sets clear objectives for team members that are aligned to business plans, monitors and assesses performance, providing timely feedback and support as necessary.
- Develops and maintains strong, collaborative relationships with the business, ensuring needs are anticipated, expectations managed, and feedback sought. Takes action to break down ‘silo barriers’, working across disciplines and functions. Well-developed interpersonal skills.

Reward & Benefits
- A 35-hour working week with flexibility around the core hours of 10am-4pm
- Agile working policy giving you the option to work from home for up to 3 days per week.
- 25 days annual leave. After 5 years’ service, the entitlement will be increased by 1 day.
- In addition, employees are entitled to buy or sell up to 5 days holiday a year
- Contributory pension scheme (The firm will contribute 5% of salary on a matched basis with employee from their date of joining)

- Eligibility for the firm’s Profit-Sharing Plan that runs from October to September each year. The scheme enables staff to share in the profits of the firm. Payment is usually c£1,000. Paid in December.
- New client referral scheme. Members of staff introducing a new client to the firm, have the potential to receive a referral payment of up to 10% of the first year’s total fees.
- Eligibility for the discretionary bonus scheme. This is based on both individual performance and firm performance.
